Introduction

Christ33 ("we", "our", "the app") is a Christian spiritual challenge application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Christ33:

• Account information: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from your authentication provider. This is used solely to create and manage your account.
• Display name: The name you enter during onboarding (e.g., "What shall we call you, pilgrim?"). This is stored to personalise your experience.
• Challenge progress: Your day count, completed days, streak data, and challenge status. This is stored to track your journey.
• Journal entries and reflections: Text you voluntarily write in journal prompts, prayer entries, and Anchor sessions. This content is private to your account.
• Prayer requests: Text you voluntarily enter as prayer requests, including whether you mark them as answered.
• App preferences: Your notification settings, theme preference (dark/light mode), and notification time.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your location data
• We do not collect your contacts or phone number
• We do not collect photos, files, or media from your device
• We do not track your browsing activity
• We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics
• We do not sell, share, or trade your personal data with any third party

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service hosted in the European Union (London, UK region). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Row-level security ensures that only you can access your own data.

If you use the app in guest mode (without signing in), your data is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to any server.

Subscriptions and Payments

Christ33 offers optional paid subscriptions managed through the Google Play Store (or Apple App Store). We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google or Apple. Subscription management (including cancellation) is done through your device's app store settings.

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your anonymised user ID and subscription status. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. Journal entries and prayer requests are never automatically deleted, even if you restart the challenge — they are considered sacred records of your spiritual journey.

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Children's Privacy

Christ33 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
